About Gavin

Over two decades of working with the best athletes, executives and performers in the world taught me one thing that the fitness industry consistently gets wrong.

The brain is not separate from the body. It runs on it.

When your physiology is right, everything improves. When it is not, no amount of willpower, discipline or productivity hacks will close the gap. That is not a motivational observation. It is biology.

Background

I started out in strength, conditioning and rehabilitation, working with people who needed to move better, recover faster and perform under pressure. Over time, working across London, New York, Auckland and Melbourne, at private clinics and world-class facilities, I began to see the same pattern everywhere.

The people who were struggling were not struggling because they lacked drive. They were struggling because their bodies were not supporting their brains. The athletes who could not sustain focus in the final quarter. The executives whose decision-making deteriorated under stress. The performers who could not access their best work when it mattered most.

The answer in every case was physiological. And once you address it at that level, everything else changes.

What I do now

I work with ambitious professionals who have everything it takes except the consistent cognitive energy to use it. The Fit Mind Programme is built around that specific problem. Twelve weeks, built around your life, your schedule and what your brain actually needs to perform.

If you want to understand where you currently are, the free Cognitive Performance Assessment is the right starting point. It takes three minutes.
